Special Instructions for Ohio eDMR users.
Be advised: your 4500 reports will not be exportable immediately after installing this update (but will remain printable).
Because of differences that exist between the printed version of the Ohio 4500 report and the electronic version (eDMR), additional setup of those report pages in Operator10 will be necessary before you will be able to export and submit reports to eDMR. These changes must be made:
- Each parameter on each page must be given a sample frequency. The list of possible frequencies is much larger than that available to the printed 4500.
- Each parameter on each page must also be given a sample type. Again, the list of available types is much larger for eDMR than for printed reports.
- Any parameter that is subject to a MDL must have one specified in the setup. This MDL will be used any time an "AA" code is the data value for the day, as eDMR requires that data with that code be shown in the form of "AA 0.02" (for an MDL of 0.02). This way, you will not have to change the way you use Operator10, the report will simply tack on the MDL whenever it encounters the "AA" code as data.
- Provide a Reporter Name, which should be the name of the official who normally signs the printed 4500 report.
- Any comments added to "AA" codes as Quick Notes in the Operator10 DataView will be printed in the appropriate location.
Note: no re-ordering of columns will be necessary! The order of the parameter columns, as seen on the eDMR web pages, will almost certainly differ from the order in which you have been printing them out of Operator10. This is OK. The reordering of the parameters to match eDMR order will happen automatically during the export process.
If you have any questions or concerns about making the move to eDMR using Operator10, please contact Technical Support at 1-800-670-1867.
